The winner of the large Brother Naija ‘LockDown’ edition Mercy Eke has sparked reactions online after her new reality television program ‘Mercy What Next? Premiered on DSTV.
In the short video making the rounds on social media, Mercy Eke probably corrected an impact about food choices for people living in Lagos.
In her words: you’ve got to possess your afang soup, she’s like no I even have to possess the pepper soup ,I am like no you don’t do this , that’s not how we appear this Lagos.
However, many of us were unable to know what she was saying due to her accent.
This is not the primary time Mercy Eke has been criticized for always faking her accent but has continued to act unbothered about it.
Many social media users panned Mercy Eke’s video, advising her to always express herself without feigning an accent to prevent backlash.
