“We’re Not Sure If It Is Kidney And Lungs Illness ” – Sunday Igboho’s Lawyer Reveals

News reports across Nigeria say that Yoruba Nation activist, Sunday Igboho, has been diagnosed with kidney and lung illness in Beninese prison, but Sunday Igboho’s Lawyer reveals it is a possibility as they are not sure what part of his body is ill.

Lawyer to Sunday Igboho, Yomi Aliyyu, revealed his sickness during an interview with BBC Yoruba.

The lawyer revealed that the Yoruba Nation activist was not diagnosed with the illness before he was arrested but got the illness during his detention in Benin Republic prison.

The lawyer assured Nigerians and his supporters that he had been taken to the hospital for treatment.

The lawyer added that his condition was so serious that he had to be rushed to the hospital.

“I cannot tell if he has been returned to the prison from the hospital, but what I do know is that he is battling ill health and it seems his kidney and lungs are already being affected.” The lawyer stated

However, the lawyer stated that he is not sure which part of his body is ill, but he is certain that his illness has to do with his internal organs.
