Mercy Eke, a former contestant on Big Brother Naija All Stars, recently refuted her previous claims of having a billionaire boyfriend.
During her time on the reality show, Mercy Eke had made headlines by asserting that her wealthy partner had offered her the show’s N120 million grand prize to dissuade her from participating, a proposition she purportedly declined.
However, in a recent interview with the well-known media personality Toke Makinwa, Mercy Eke admitted that she had fabricated the story about having an affluent boyfriend outside the Big Brother house. She clarified that she had fabricated the tale to deter male contestants from pursuing romantic relationships with her, as she was not interested in such entanglements.
