In a recent interview with Africa Magic, Adekunle Olopade, known as “Bad Boy Deks,” and a finalist in Big Brother Naija All Stars, made headlines by sharing his perspective on love and relationships.

The reality TV star revealed that he identifies as a sapiosexual, meaning he is attracted to intelligence above all else. This declaration came alongside a heartfelt confession about how he fell in love with fellow housemate Venita during his time in the Big Brother Naija house.

Adekunle Olopade, affectionately known as Bad Boy Deks, spoke candidly with host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu about his unexpected journey into love within the confines of the reality show.

He emphasized that his initial intention in the house wasn’t to pursue a romantic relationship. However, it was Venita’s exceptional intellect that ultimately captured his heart.

In his own words, Adekunle Olopade stated, “To be honest, I didn’t focus on getting into a relationship, but I know that in my previous season, I didn’t interact with women much. So my plan this time around was to interact with more women.”

He went on to describe the pivotal moment when Venita caught his attention. “I noticed Venita in the first week. I threw a joke in the air, and she was the only one that caught it. I actually like intelligent women. I was like I’m going to pay extra attention to her. And she was very different from the rest of the housemates. So, I saw an opportunity to get to know her.”

Adekunle Olopade, also known as Bad Boy Deks, elaborated on how their connection deepened. “When I was the Head of House, I was the only one upstairs. And I was like I’m not going to sleep alone this time around. So, I took her up.”
