“2Face Warned Me To Stop Coveting His Throne As ‘Africa’s Greatest Artist'” – Brymo
Many Nigerians rampaged after the network and social media blackout, which lasted for 7 hours, if not more, as people were unaware when exactly the downtime started and when it ended.
After the blackout, a Nigerian musician, Olawale Ashimi, also known as Brymo, accused Popular Nigerian singer, 2face Idibia, of sending thugs to attack him. Brymo is still confused as he is not certain why 2face sent thugs to attack him.
Brymo wrote on his Twitter account saying that he does not know if it was because he named himself the greatest artist alive in Africa or if it was because he was falsely accused of sleeping with his wife, Annie Macaulay Idibia.
Many Nigerians were sure that it was because he was falsely accused of sleeping with Annie Macaulay, because this was not the first time he called himself the greatest singer in Africa. He even often called himself “the Most Powerful Artiste In The World.”
Brymo reminisced about his issue with 2Face in the past when he was falsely accused of sleeping with his wife and revealed that he has not been living a peaceful life ever since that accusation.
Brymo also talked about a meeting he had with 2face’s wife in 2012 when she asked him about his future and he told her that he would be Africa’s finest artist alive and that he would reign for a decade.
Brymo added that he later had a meeting with 2Face, who warned him not to covet his “throne” and told him what would happen if he ever stole it
Brymo revealed that when 2Face warned him, he used an artist as an example, who claimed that he was the king of Africa.
