DSS Operatives Attempts To Commit Suicide After An Argument With Her Fiancé
DSS operative was rescued after jumping into the lagoon after she had an argument with her fiancé in Lagos state
Adetutu Adedokun, a Department of State Security operative, jumped into the lagoon on the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos State on Thursday, November 10, 2022.
The DSS Operative was said to have gotten out of a cab, walked over to the bridge’s railing, and jumped into the water.
Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, confirmed the incident in a situation report, saying the cab driver claimed the woman was having a heated conversation with her fiance before alighting from the vehicle.

According to reports, the DSS Operative was rescued by appropriate authorities. Adetutu’s action comes just weeks after her boyfriend proposed to her.
